Rebecca Blake has been singing and performing all over the world for the past 20 years. At the age of 16 she wrote and recorded her first original song and went on to perform in various musical and theatrical productions throughout the United States and Europe.
When joining Starlight Orchestras as a vocalist in 2002, Rebecca was impressed by the caliber of talent and the expertise of the bandleaders. “Every Starlight event was so well executed. It was obvious that the creative team at Starlight took great pride in customizing every event to fit their client’s needs. I felt instantly inspired, and wondered if producing events was something I was meant to do.”
In 2004, Rebecca was given the opportunity to do just that. She formed her band, The Rebecca Blake Starlight Orchestra and has been producing and leading ever since. Rebecca’s band has traveled around the country and has been featured in the recent issue of New York Magazine.
Rebecca’s band is bursting with talent; her musicians share the stage with Rod Stewart, Ricky Martin, The Jonas Brothers, among other headliners. Rebecca says, “Every event is different and that is what I love about this industry. No party is ever the same as the last. To be able to plan, create and execute my client’s vision is amazing. I love being a bandleader with Starlight and look forward to every next event!”
